Bank & insurance exam photo, signature, thumb and declaration sizes
IBPS, SBI, RBI and LIC application forms ask for the same four files: a photo of 200 × 230 px (20–50 KB), a signature of 140 × 60 px (10–20 KB), a left-thumb impression of 240 × 240 px (20–50 KB) and a handwritten declaration of 800 × 400 px (50–100 KB), all JPEG.

What Banking & insurance exams forms have in common
- The thumb impression (3 × 3 cm) and declaration (10 × 5 cm) are specified at 200 DPI, which is where 240 × 240 and 800 × 400 px come from.
- The declaration must be in English, in your own running handwriting, not in capital letters.
- Signatures in CAPITAL letters are rejected by all of these boards.
