- Photo: Recent passport-style colour photo; caps, hats and dark glasses not allowed.
- Signature: Must be signed by the candidate; capital letters not accepted.
- Left thumb impression: 3 x 3 cm at 200 DPI. If no left thumb, use right thumb (see notification).
- Handwritten declaration: 10 x 5 cm at 200 DPI; English, own handwriting, not capitals.
What else does IBPS require?
- Photo: JPG/JPEG, 200 x 230 px (preferred), 20-50 KB, recent passport-style colour photo, light (preferably white) background.
- Signature: 140 x 60 px (preferred), 10-20 KB, black ink on white paper, NOT in capital letters.
- Left thumb impression: 240 x 240 px at 200 DPI (3 x 3 cm), 20-50 KB, black or blue ink on white paper.
- Handwritten declaration: 800 x 400 px at 200 DPI (10 x 5 cm), 50-100 KB, in English, in your own handwriting, NOT in capitals.
- A live photograph is also captured through webcam/mobile during registration.
- Figures are from the CRP PO/MT-XVI (2026) annexure; IBPS Clerk, RRB and SO notifications have used the same annexure, but check your notification.
How do I resize my IBPS files?

Why is my 140 x 60 signature smaller than 10 KB?
A clean signature at only 140 x 60 pixels usually compresses to 2-9 KB even at maximum JPEG quality. The pixel size is 'preferred' while 10-20 KB is a hard limit, so this tool keeps 140 x 60 px and, only if needed, adds harmless padding bytes (a JPEG comment) so the file reaches the minimum. The picture itself is unchanged.
What is the handwritten declaration text?
"I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required." Write it in English in your own handwriting (not capitals), in black ink on white paper, then scan and resize it here.
Are my IBPS photo and signature uploaded to your server?
No. Cropping, resizing and compression happen in your browser. No file is uploaded or stored.
What if the IBPS notification changes the size?
Specs can change every cycle. Check the new IBPS notification; if the numbers differ, paste the new requirement into the tool's “Not listed?” box or type the pixels and KB — and tell us so we can update the preset.
