Teacher eligibility test photo and signature sizes: CTET, HTET, UGC NET
CTET wants a 3.5 × 4.5 cm JPG photo of 10–100 KB and a 3.5 × 1.5 cm signature of 3–30 KB. HTET uses the same 3.5 × 4.5 cm photo but a tighter 20–50 KB, plus a 10–20 KB signature and a 10–30 KB thumb impression. UGC NET (NTA) takes a 10–200 KB photo with no pixel size and a signature this site keeps at 10–30 KB.

What Teacher eligibility tests (CTET, HTET, UGC NET) forms have in common
- CTET and HTET both give the photo in centimetres (3.5 × 4.5 cm). At 200 DPI that is 276 × 354 px, which is what the editor uses.
- The same CTET photo can fail HTET: CTET allows up to 100 KB, HTET only 50 KB. Re-export for each form instead of reusing one file.
- HTET is the only one of the three that asks for a thumb impression image; the HTET figures come from the HTET-2024 bulletin, so check the current one.
