What Entrance & eligibility exams (NTA, GATE, CAT) forms have in common
- Because NTA gives only a KB range, any passport-proportion size works; the editor uses 350 × 450 px for the photo and 350 × 150 px for the signature.
- Signature limits differ: JEE Main and NEET 10–100 KB, CUET UG 10–50 KB, UGC NET 10–30 KB (the range that satisfies both figures in its bulletin).
- NEET UG also asks for an 800 × 600 px image of both hands' finger and thumb impressions (50–200 KB).
- Outside NTA: NEET PG (NBEMS) wants an uploaded photo under 80 KB plus a live photo; MHT CET a 2 × 2 inch photo of at least 100 KB; WBJEE a 10–200 KB photo and a 4–30 KB signature.
