What else does TNPSC require?
- Photo: JPG/JPEG, 300-400 px wide and 250-400 px high, under 50 KB.
- Signature: JPG/JPEG, 200-300 px wide and 150-250 px high, under 20 KB.
- Supporting documents: 600-800 x 900-1200 px JPG or a PDF, under 200 KB.
- TNPSC's OTR FAQ is also reported to ask for your name and the date of photography printed at the bottom of the photo; we could not open that FAQ, so check the form.
How do I resize my TNPSC files?
- Open the tool above and upload your file (JPG, PNG, WEBP or iPhone HEIC).
- The TNPSC preset sets Photo 300×400 px, up to 50 KB automatically.
- Crop to frame your face (or your signature), optionally fix the background, then Download when the badge is green.
- Switch the document type at the top of the tool for Signature.

What pixel size does TNPSC want for the photo?
TNPSC's resize notice says 300-400 px horizontally and 250-400 px vertically, under 50 KB. This page uses 300 x 400 px, a portrait shape inside that range.
My TNPSC signature is wider than 300 px. Is that a problem?
Yes. The notice gives 200-300 px wide and 150-250 px high, under 20 KB. This page resizes it to 300 x 150 px.
Are my TNPSC photo and signature uploaded to your server?
No. Cropping, resizing and compression happen in your browser. No file is uploaded or stored.
What if the TNPSC notification changes the size?
Specs can change every cycle. Check the new TNPSC notification; if the numbers differ, paste the new requirement into the tool's “Not listed?” box or type the pixels and KB — and tell us so we can update the preset.
