CTET uploads: frequently asked questions

What is the CTET Photo size?

276 × 354 pixels, 10–100 KB, JPEG, background: Light / white. Pixels: 3.5 x 4.5 cm at 200 DPI. Last checked 3 October 2026 — confirm with the latest notification.

What is the CTET Signature size?

276 × 118 pixels, 3–30 KB, JPEG, background: White paper, black/blue ink. Pixels: 3.5 x 1.5 cm at 200 DPI. Last checked 3 October 2026 — confirm with the latest notification.

Does CTET say how many pixels the photo should be?

No. The September 2026 bulletin gives 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm and 10-100 KB. We convert at 200 DPI (276 x 354 px). The KB range is the limit the form checks.

Is the CTET signature limit really as low as 3 KB?

Yes, the bulletin allows 3-30 KB for the signature, a much wider range than most exams, so almost any cleanly cropped signature scan will fit.

Are my CTET photo and signature uploaded to your server?

No. Cropping, resizing and compression happen in your browser. No file is uploaded or stored.

What if the CTET notification changes the size?

Specs can change every cycle. Check the new CTET notification; if the numbers differ, paste the new requirement into the tool's “Not listed?” box or type the pixels and KB — and tell us so we can update the preset.
